Provoking Hope

Provoking Hope presented a prevention panel discussion to the Dayton High School. They shared a lived experience of choices, and the consequences of choices.

Grade School Winter Program

Join us for this year's Winter Program presented by the 1-5th graders!
Program A is on Tuesday, December 16 @ 6:30
Program B is on Wednesday, December 17 @ 6:30
Students should arrive at the room listed in their letter between 6:00-6:15 the night of their performance.
If you aren't sure which night your student is performing, please contact their classroom teacher or the office.

Advanced Soils - Dayton FFA

The advanced soils team had a great day! The team finished 1st place overall in Districts. Individual awards: Opal Holland 1st, Jaxson Swarts 2nd, Kendra Fuller 5th, and Easton Moody 10th. We are proud of you!

Grass Fire

The Dayton Fire Dept. responded quickly to a grass fire near our Dayton Grade School playground.

Oregon SkillsUSA State Champions!

Our Dayton High School Culinary program earned state champion honors in the Oregon SkillsUSA competition. Excellent showing for a brand new chapter/ program!

School Supply List 2025-2026

Updated supply lists for students in entering grades kindergarten through fifth grade. Thank you to our amazing P.T.S.O. for purchasing some of our supplies for the 2025-2026 school year.

Could You Hug A Cactus?

Join us for our spring performance: Could You Hug a Cactus? Showtime is May 20th at 6:30pm in the Dayton Grade School gym/ cafeteria.

Episode 33 - Robert and Otto

Today we chat Safety and Security with our "Maintenance Man" Robert Osburn, and Maintenance Director Otto Rice.


We learn more about their history at the Dayton School District and their experiences in emergency services. Otto and Robert share how they work with our committees to improve the facilities and how they built a team with trust and high expectations.
